Clarus Marketing Materials

Print Design | Marketing | Social Media Design

Client project during my first co-op at Mertz Design Studio, involving the creation of digital and print materials for Clarus Dermatology in Minneapolis. A refreshed look and feel for social media extends across a wide range of deliverables.

The Problem

Clarus had a previous brand identity but lacked cohesion and variety as it expanded into a new location. The challenge was to evolve the existing system with new elements and materials that could both advertise the clinic and strengthen recognition. This project provided the opportunity to refresh and extend the brand while maintaining the trust already associated with the clinic.

Creating the "Look and Feel"

Creation of 3 social suite options to determine the look and feel for new brand elements created throughout the project.

Minimalist direction chosen and incorporated into billboard and window poster designs to promote a new clinic location.

Selected designs used language promoting key values of the clinic: short wait times and high quality care.

Refining the Social Strategy

Selection of copy for static posts that aligns with keywords to improve SEO and reach of Instagram and Meta posts.

Selected concepts refined for static posts and modified in After Effects for short video format.

Psst: This project is ongoing during my second co-op at Mertz, come back in January 2026 to see the full project!
